EDM producer Zedd has dropped his latest single , called ‘Ignite,’ which will serve as the theme song for the League of Legends World Championship . The gaming tournament begins Sept. 29 in Los Angeles.
League of Legends developer, Riot Games, shared the ‘Ignite’ music video on YouTube Monday. The video features winning gameplay from previous LoL World Championship series.
Riot Games is well known for collaborating with various electronic artists. In 2014, Imagine Dragons created the League of Legends World Championship theme song. There has also been a League of Legends album , which dropped in early 2016, featuring LoL soundtrack remixes from popular artists including Jauz, Marshmello, Mako and Vicetone.
Rumors suggest ‘Ignite’ may also be part of a coming studio album for Zedd, which may drop in 2017. The German producer is also well known for another video game themed song, his ‘Legend of Zelda’ mix.
