Blizzard’s highly anticipated sequel to one of the best dungeon crawling ARPGs of its time made its way to the Nintendo Switch last November. If you haven’t already, then Diablo III is absolutely worth getting on the Switch – not only is the system perfect for immersive dungeon crawlers, it’s also packed with a plethora of exclusive features that you only get for playing on the handheld, like pieces of the world of Zelda in Sanctuary, as well as a cucco companion pet, a Triforce portrait frame, and an exclusive transmogrification set that will let your heroes sport Ganondorf's iconic armor.
Story wise, you once again play as one of seven classes tasked with defeating the ultimate lord of terror, Diablo. It doesn’t get much simpler than that, and it doesn’t really have to, as Diablo III’s gameplay speaks for itself. This edition with the Switch, called the Eternal Collection, also bundles together the two expansion packs released for the game – Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer, both worthy additions to your Diablo III experience.

Gal Metal - 'World Tour' Edition
Rhythm games on the Switch make for some of the weirdest titles ever, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth playing. If anything, it should interest you even more, in particular a title like Gal Metal, which blends in the Joy-Con’s motion controls to create one of the most unique rhythm games of its time. Gal Metal turns your controllers into a pair of drum sticks for a brand-new rhythm game experience, set across 13 different tracks without any sheet music, or even rhythm icons.

Any Pokémon fan will know that the recent popularity of Pokémon Go has pushed the series into a new direction, one that’s aimed at a wider, more casual market, but still retaining the elements of what made the franchise a multibillion-dollar powerhouse. The first two games in the series, Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, hold up well in this regard, and now for Prime Day you can get in on the action as the title is one of the few first-party Nintendo games receiving a special deal.
Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! pairs you with the pocket monster Eevee as you return to the series’ roots in the Kanto region, in a direct storytelling sequel for Pokémon Yellow. The game also features some very neat integration with the mobile title Pokémon Go, allowing you to catch Pokémon while outside and add them to the in-game Pokédex.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster
Earlier this year, Square Enix made waves when it announced that two of its classic Final Fantasy titles, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, will be coming to both the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One. If you thought that its initial pricing left much to be desired, then you’ll be glad to know that it will be getting its own Prime Day deal for the next two days, which is something every fan of the series should take advantage of. Containing both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster boasts about 40 to 50 hours of gameplay time per title.
Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster boasts updated graphics in the form of new and updated textures. It also has several quality of life improvements that are a welcome addition over the original titles, while not taking away from the core of the story, which is that of Tidus and Yuna saving the world from destruction by a monster named Sin. The collection also includes several bonuses, like the short film called Eternal Calm , which bridges the timelines of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. It’s a good way to experience the stories as they were meant to be told.
