The Hyperbeat Update for Apex Legends Mobile is all set for launch later tonight, and it features some changes to Kings Canyon and the Store Vault.
Town Takeover in Apex Legends Mobile is a special section of a map designed after a Legend. In the Hyperbeat Update, the Pythas Theater was seemingly modeled after Rhapsody and is the latest Town Takeover section added to Kings Canyon. Players must brave through Rhapsody’s POI-altering song to claim their just rewards.
In addition, there are new VIP supply bins that can be found all over Kings Canyon containing VIP passes. These passes will give players access to crates that have powerful gear, so be sure to be on the lookout for them.
Aside from the Kings Canyon additions, the Hyperbeat Update also features a huge change to the Store Vault. Developer Respawn Entertainment implemented a new mechanic that will increase the drop rates for Eternal cosmetic items in the Store Vault up to a certain point. This change helps players get Eternal cosmetic items faster as they continue to draw from the Store Vault. This increase will reset once an Eternal cosmetic item has been pulled.
