Patch 1.1 of Apex Legends officially went live 1:00 PM EST. No major changes were implemented, but a bug has resulted in the progression of several players to be wiped out.
Upon discovery of the bug, Respawn Entertainment said that the studio was looking into the matter and that until the issue was resolved, it was "recommend players do not buy or craft anything."
Respawn has since fixed the issue by shutting down all the live servers. This allowed Respawn to remove any player that was in "the wrong place and roll up the correct servers with [the player's] progress." The fix was first rolled out with the Xbox, while PS4 and PC received staggered updates.
Respawn said that everyting should be back to what it was before the patch and includes "levels earned, items unlocked, packs opened, and spent currency."
Huge bug aside, the only other big change introduced by the patch is that players now have the ability to re-party with the squad from their previous match.
