The content train for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey keeps on rolling, this time with developer Ubisoft providing a content update roadmap of sorts for what we can expect to see during the month of June.

First off, we have the recently announced Story Creator mode, which saw its formal introduction back in Ubisoft’s E3 2019 Showcase. The Story Creator mode allows players to create their own stories and scenarios for the game, including specific gameplay design and handwritten dialog choices. It’s always good to see a game providing level and scenario creation options for its players, even more so when it’s as expansive as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

The mode is currently available for free to all existing owners of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and you can find more details about the Story Creator mode here.

With the success of Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt introduced back in Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ubisoft is currently developing a version for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, titled Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece. The Discovery Tours are great learning tools for history nerds, as the game takes on the form of an interactive tour, showing off the expansive sights and sounds of Ancient Greece.

  • Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece allows you to choose between five tour guides: Aspasia, Barnabas, Markos, Herodotos, and Leonidas.
  • It will allow you to interact with more than 300 World stations and 30 different tours, all scattered throughout 26 different regions.
  • The 26 regions of tours each cover 5 different themes – philosophy, architecture, daily life, war, and myths – which will then be translated into applied knowledge as you are quizzed afterwards, which lets you check how much of the knowledge you have retained.
  • Explore Ancient Greece with 35 unique avatars and 15 mounts, free from the usual combat and other gameplay restraints.

Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece will be released sometime this fall.

June also marked the release of the second episode of The Fate of Atlantis DLC, called Torment of Hades. Check out the official trailer below to see more information on this released episode.

On June 25, a new Lost Tale of Greece will also be released, this time centering on Herodotos’ past. It’s called Every Story has an Ending, and it will be made available to all players for free.
