Many Americans had yesterday off thanks to Labor Day, but that hasn’t slowed down the weekly updates for GTA Online. This week brings opportunities to earn double GTA$ and double RP, as well as the chance to save some cash when buying expensive toys. The big news this time is about Motor Wars, the newest game mode introduced in the Smuggler’s Run update.
Similar to survival games like PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds and H1Z1 King of the Kill, Motor Wars features teams fighting to be the last one standing. Players compete for better weapons in an arena that continually shrinks over the course of the match.
Playing Motor Wars will earn double the rewards from now through Sept. 11.
If you want a little freebie, there’s a new t-shirt for everyone who logs on from now until Sept. 11. The free shirt features the Shrewsbury logo, which is the head of a deer where one eye has been replaced by a crosshair.
If you’re looking to save your cash, there are discounts for many big-time purchases, like new cars or vehicle armor. A full list of the discounted products is as follows:

As always, there is a new Premium Race and a new Time Trial for players to tackle as well. The Premium Race, Criss Cross, is locked to the Ruiner 2000. The Time Trial race is Route 68. Finishing the Premium Race in the top three will earn you GTA$, and just participating will earn triple the RP. For the Time Trial race, you need to beat the par time to earn the rewards.
