Activision has dispersed all of these changes through free updates across all games, and fans are already noticing some pretty major surprises not specifically mentioned in these patch notes. Infinite Warfare gets two new snipers, called Proteus & Trek-50, for example. Others are simply having more luck finding key items they’ve been looking for, thanks to the perks from this event.
It should also be noted that Call Of Duty Days Of Summer begins on the exact same day that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered releases as a standalone game on PS4 for $40 . The former Infinite Warfare pack in features the vanilla suite of multiplayer maps plus the full single-player campaign. It will also come to Xbox One and PC at a later date.
Especially for those playing Modern Warfare Remastered, this seasonal event will likely feel a bit familiar. Back in March, Operation Shamrock & Awe was set up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. For a few weeks, players were privy to themed Supply Drops, as well as a remixed version of Downpour called Daybreak. However, this is one of the only times something like this has expanded across Activision’s full portfolio of active games. It’s also potentially far more lucrative for players.
All three games impacted by Call Of Duty Days Of Summer are available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC via pack in or standalone release.
