For a lot of longtime Call of Duty fans, October 25 can’t come soon enough, as that is the official date given by Activision for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This soft reboot of the highly popular and influential Modern Warfare from 2007 is being billed as a return to form for the series; for the first time in a long time, a lot of attention is being poured onto the single-player campaign, which is probably what put the original Modern Warfare series on the map in the first place.
While we’re still months away from its release, many people are already expecting Modern Warfare to become a blockbuster since the original still means a lot to players who play first-person shooters. Just in the last week, Activision has already started the hype train, delivering some gameplay footage of what players can expect in terms of multiplayer including a new Gunfight mode which consists of two versus two matches; a Ground War battle royale mode for more than a hundred players at once; and a Special Ops mode that mixes co-op and strategy, among others.
In addition to this, Activision has now announced its latest and most prestigious special edition for the game. Called the Dark Edition, it’s priced at $200 and includes what is probably the most exorbitant add-on yet: a fully functional pair of night vision goggles. Check out the details below released by Activision.

It’s kind of over-the-top, but then again, I’d expect nothing less from what is probably Call of Duty’s biggest release in the past few years. YouTuber Syndicate has also shared his take on the night vision goggles included, which seem to work extremely well. Check out the tweet below.
So last night I got my hands on some Night Vision goggles & I thought they’d be absolutely trash..
