Are you looking for a new and unique immersive experience? The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story could be the game for you. It offers superb storytelling and mixes cinematic cinematography with deductive gameplay. It's launching May 12 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
The game features complex and interwoven mysteries that players need to unravel centered around the Shijima family, who have been suffering a series of inexplicable deaths over the last century. Players take on the role of one Haruka Kagami. By using their powers of deduction, they need to learn more about what's behind the mysterious events. Players get to explore the past and present through four murder cases set across different periods of Japan.
It's not going to be easy, especially with the intricate web of secrets. Players need to uncover clues, speak to suspects, and put all the pieces of the puzzle together to come up with a hypothesis. The thing is, not everyone is going to cooperate, so be sure to have those counterarguments ready when you present your case. If you're not confident about your detective skills, not to worry since the game has been designed in a way that you eventually get the correct answer.
