While this may not be the massive Home Village update many fans were expecting following last month’s Builder Hall 7 patch, this is still a pretty balanced release for those who enjoy the many different aspects of Clash Of Clans. If you’re maxed to Town Hall 11, it’s good to see that ceiling raised with some new levels, but those changes will only be worthwhile for a fairly select group.
Supercell appears fairly content with the balance it’s struck with Clan Wars for the time being. We haven’t seen a new permanent troop in quite a while, and the additional Clan Wars features focus more on quality-of-life aspects of the larger Clan system. Following the fiasco of the Town Hall 11 release a few years back, it’s possible the game’s development team is a little hesitant to mess with stability now that it exists. With games like Clash Royale and Brawl Stars continuing to gain traction, we wouldn’t be surprised if those newer projects took precedent in the months and years ahead.
That being said, Clash Of Clans did just celebrate its fifth anniversary with a bunch of limited troops that might eventually find their way into the full game if they can be properly balanced. The October update isn’t exactly a game changer, but it’s got some nice perks for those deep into War or experimentation with the Builder Base.
Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS. Be sure to read the full patch notes here if you want more details.
