The Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow crossover trailer has finally arrived. This is our first look at the villainous alien race, The Dominators, the biggest threat to the Arrowverse CW’s heroes have ever seen. They first appeared in Legion of Super-Heroes and are often pictured with yellow skin, a red circle on their forehead with sharp teeth and nails. Here, they kind of look like a zombie version of E.T.
But the Dominators aren’t the only big bads we spotted in the trailer. Stephen Amell teased back in September Deathstroke could make an appearance, but it was unclear at the time if he was just joking. The Heroes Vs. Aliens trailer confirms we will indeed see Deathstroke, however, it’s too early to say it’s Manu Bennett behind the mask. It wouldn’t be unlike Arrow to switch things up, especially after Flashpoint. Time travel is also an option. Since Black Canary, Moira and Robert Queen are all coming back, this could be some sort of fast forward or alternate reality. The last time we saw fan favorite villain, Slade Wilson, was in Season 3. He’s been locked up in prison on Lian Yu ever since.
Deathstroke and The Dominators were definitely the focal point of the footage, all though there is a pretty cool shot of the Waverider landing in what looks to be Central City. There’s also a shot of Firestorm zooming across a bridge and some humorous banter between Barry and Oliver.
The Invasion! crossover event officially begins with The Flash episode 8, titled “Invasion!” On Nov. 29, but Supergirl will travel to the Arrowverse in Season 2 episode 8, “Medusa.” Read more about the event schedule here.
