Cyberpunk 2077 fans will soon be able to play the much-anticipated expansion. Phantom Liberty has been in development for a long time but will finally launch on September 26. With a major DLC coming up, developer CD Projekt made some interesting claims.
Phantom Liberty is supposed to push boundaries, so it requires more powerful hardware. Unlike the base game, the expansion will be skipping the older-gen consoles and will only be available on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. The need for more processing power is also present on PC as revealed by the new system requirements, and as you can expect, they are higher than that of the base game.
The base game recommended SSD but it could still run on HDD. However, the same won't be true for the expansion as the devs recommend SSD through and through. The CPU, GPU, and VRAM requirements saw an increase as well.
