Earlier this week, Patrick Stewart told fans Logan was his final X-men movie too. We were almost through the Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart grieving process, but now, Stewart is screwing with our emotions in the worst way. The 76-year old actor said the only way he’d return to the franchise is if it was with Deadpool. Don’t do this to us, Patrick.
“I would have said yes,” Stewart said, “but the discussion just now about Deadpool makes me think, well, maybe there is a proper justification for the revival of Charles Xavier,” Stewart said in a Facebook Live.
Merc’s dirty mouth and the old professor would be a sight to behold, though it seems like a far-fetched possibility for Stewart’s version of Professor X. Stewart said early this week it was watching Logan with Hugh Jackman where he cried at the ending and made his final decision to resign from his role. Read the full story here.
