Bungie continues to support Destiny 2 after all these years. The developers released a hotfix that makes some balancing changes along with several bug fixes. The hotfix 3.0.1.2 is now live on all platforms in every region. Make sure to download it before playing the game.
Cryptolith Lure is slightly buffed by the update. It will recharge as twice as fast and its charge cap is also increased to five from the previous three. Developers fixed the bug where players will get Cryptolith Lure every time they open the game. They fixed the description of the Lure too.
The hotfix tweaked the Penumbral Blast ability. Its projectile range is up by 37% and the minimum distance of which you can cast it is down by 32%. In layman's terms, you can cast this ability closer to the enemy. Freeze tag emote can’t reduce incoming damage anymore and the screen tearing issue in consoles is also addressed.
