The Division 2 announced that the new season for Warlords of New York is here. Titles Shadow Tide, it's going to offer new manhunts. Completing these gives players a chance to earn rewards.
Shadow Tide is available to players who managed to not only complete the Warlords of New York campaign, but also are able to reach level 40. This season is going to have a total of five new manhunts. The first one is Neptune, with additional targets being added over the next three weeks. The season then culminates with the Prime Target Jupiter. Those who manage to beat Jupiter get the EMP Sticky Bomb variant.
What makes the season even more exciting is that each manhunt is going to have a week-long double-XP event. This should allow players to get the needed seasonal levels. There's going to be a total of 100 levels per season, with each level handing out rewards with increasing value. This can include 15 named weapons and four gear pieces all the way to the Striker Gear Set and even the Coyote’s Mask exotic item.
Those who want to have even more rewards can pick up the Season Pass, though this is optional. The Season Pass is free to those who have the Warlords of New York expansion.
Shadow Tide is also going to offer three Global Events plus a Season One Apparel Event. There's also going to be four timed Leagues, along with an additional opportunity to earn rewards by competing for leaderboard status through the in-game PvE activities. Each League competition is good for two weeks and hands out as much as 10 rewards based on the performance of the individual player.
Warlords of New York is the latest expansion to come from The Division 2. This new addition moves the story from Washington D.C. back to the streets of New York. While the area may be new, there are going to be some familiar faces, particularly one that hasn't been seen since The Division.
Overall Warlords of New York offers five new Main Missions plus eight interlinked Side Missions. Other changes include increasing the level cap and the introduction of new skills. You can read more about this new expansion here.
