A new PlayStation VR for PlayStation 5 was announced last week. The PSVR 2 seems a lot better than its predecessor as it offers better resolution, field-of-view, and a simple one-wire setup. But that’s not all that Sony is offering to VR players.
Yesterday, the company revealed six upcoming games that players can enjoy on their current VR headset. These games will also be available on the new-generation VR system when it launches after 2021.
DOOM 3 VR Edition
The VR version of this 17-year old game will release on March 29 for both PS4 and PS5. Doom 3 VR Edition will come with the base game along with its two expansion packs. There is no word if the game will be available for PC VR setup or not, however, you can already play it on PC via unofficial means.
After the Fall
The developer of the 2016 zombie game, Arizona Sunshine , is back again with another game. After the Fall is a co-op sequel that will be available on PSVR during Summer 2021. The game will also be available on PC via Steam.
I Expect You To Die 2
I Expect You To Die 2 puts you back into the world of espionage. The game takes place right after the ending of the original game, which received critical reception from fans. It will launch on PSVR and PC sometime in 2021.
Fracked, Song in the Smoke, and Zenith
Three more VR games were announced yesterday. They might not be as famous as the first three but still interesting enough to check out. All of these games are expected to release in 2021:
- Fracked is a run-and-cover action-adventure game by the developer of Phantom: Covert Ops.
- Song in the Smoke is a survival game that puts more emphasis on crafting, exploring, and hunting.
- The last game, Zenith, is an anime-like MMO. It also features high-tech tools along with fantasy elements.
