The upcoming point-and-click ghost story An English Haunting is coming soon to Steam. This game is developed by Postmodern Adventures, whose previous titles include Urban Witch Story, Billy Masters Was Right, and Nightmare Frames.
Meet Professor Moore
The game takes place in London in 1907, a time when a madness for spiritualism is on the rise. There are a lot of séances and theatrical shows happening where spirits try to make contact with the living members of their families. At the same time, there are investigators doing the work and learning the secrets of the supernatural.
One of these investigators is Professor Patrick Moore, who once stood at the forefront and is now at a crossroads. He has to prove within 72 hours that the Great Beyond exists, otherwise his Metapsychic Investigations Department is going to be shut down for good.
Race Against the Clock
With help of the fake medium Beatrice Shaw, he's now racing against the clock to finish a prototype of the Box of Revelations. This is an artifact that was developed by his missing mentor which allows hidden dimensions to be seen. Building this device takes him from the foggy streets of London to the steep shores of Scotland. It ends at 31 Benwell Street, aka the most haunted manor of England.
