USC: Counterforceis arriving on Steam Early Access this July 25. It's developed by Angry Cat Studios and published by Firesquid.
The game has players lead Space Commandos as they fight in turn-based squad tactics combat in the same vein as Aliens, Space Hulk, and UFO/XCOM. The team is sent to a planetary body and tasked to investigate and take down an alien threat. Players need to discover the truth about why the colony on the planet was destroyed and come up with an efficient strategy to protect humanity from the threat.
Early Access
During early access, players can experience four special operations along with an endless list of procedurally-generated missions through the single-mission mode. The development team revealed that they'll be using community feedback to update and improve the current features and do the same for future additions. According to the team, the final version is planned to have a full and open-ended campaign mode having an adaptive storyline.

- Play alone with fully customizable single-mission mode and lead the marines on challenging, multi-mission operations with unique goals.
- Those who don't want to go alone can try the co-op multiplayer modes and play in classic hot-seat or use Steam's "Remote Play Together" feature to bring a fellow soldier along online.
