Epic Games Store is growing stronger every day, some of the credit goes to the free games that the Store gives out every week. This week will be no different, as the previously announced free games are now available. You can claim Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet, and The Escapists 2 for no additional cost. You can claim all these games until July 16, but after that you will have to shell out real-life money for them again.
Killing Floor 2 is a zombie killing game which was released back in 2016, the game uses Unreal Engine 3, which is also owned by Epic Games. KF2 has co-op support for up to six players, and there is also a '12 players vs. Zed-slaughtering mayhem' mode. You and your friends can play against each other by playing the PvP mode. PvP mode lets some players play as the zombies (Zed) and makes for an amazing Tom and Jerry-like experience.
You can also claim two more awesome titles like Lifeless Planet and The Escapists 2. The former one is set on a distant planet where your ship has crash-landed. You will explore the planet and also check out the abandoned outpost created by Soviet Russia. As you play the game, you will find out how the Soviets reached the planet and why the outpost is now empty. The latter of the games is a strategy RPG that puts you in the shoes of a prisoner who is dead-set on breaking out of jail. Heavy emphasis is given to careful planning and preparations.
Epic Games Store also revealed the next free game of the week. This time they are only giving away one title, which is Torchlight 2. You will be able to claim this game from July 16 to July 23. Torchlight 2 is a dungeon-crawler that features randomized levels and enemies. The game also features an online MP mode, offline LAN support, and a New Game Plus mode. You can also mod your game using the Torchlight 2 editor GUTS.
