The Far Harbor DLC releases in May Bethesda

Fallout 4: Far Harbour DLC is bigger than Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion ’s Shivering Isles, according to Bethesda VP of PR Pete Hines. What does that mean to those who haven’t played Oblivion ? Well, the add-on would have taken a completionist about 54 hours to get through, with about 11 hours of that being dedicated to the main story, according to HowLongToBeat.com . That’s a lot of content. Unfortunately, we don’t know if Hines comments are referring to the amount of missions, the actual map size, or both.

The news doesn’t come as a surprise as Bethesda already teased Far Harbor was the largest add-on it’s ever created during the initial DLC announcement back in February . Bethesda also promised Fallout 4 players will include higher-level armor, weapons and settlements. As for the story, a lead in a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you off the coast of Maine to the island of Far Harbor. This new island is filled with feral creatures, synths, Children of Atom, as well as some locals who settled down in the area.

Fallout 4: Far Harbour DLC is priced at $25 and will be released May 2016.
