Fallout 4 DLC isn’t planned for the future, but it’s hard to forget that Bethesda has discussed some plans to dig deeper into its Boston wasteland. Remember those mentions of a PS4 Pro update and VR support on HTC Vive? Here’s the latest word on those projects from studio marketing VP Pete Hines.
With regard to VR, he simply said “we haven’t given a date or month” in which the experience will be released. However, the fact that he’s willing to respond to tweets on the subject at least passively implies some sense of ongoing development.

For PS4 Pro the answer was a bit more straightforward. On that topic, Hines confirmed “it’s still coming,” adding that “we will let you know when we have more info to share on timing.”

It’s been several months since Bethesda last talked about either of these developments. Fallout 4 on the HTC Vive was a surprise headliner of the developer’s E3 presentation last year. In fact, we even went hands on with it. PS4 Pro support was mentioned on Nov. 17 as something that would come in the Sony console’s next title update. A significant patch for that version of the game hasn’t been released since mods arrived last November. At the very least, it’s good to hear that both of these concepts haven’t been canceled.
