Electronic Arts partnered with Marvel Entertainment to introduce a new set known as FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes to FIFA 23. It’s pretty much FUT but reimagined and inspired by Marvel Comics. This partnership hopes to bring some of the fan favorites to the game and be able to celebrate their larger-than-life cult hero status.
In recognition of their memorable careers not just for the club but also for the country, each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero gets a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode along with base versions of FUT Heroes available at launch of FIFA 23.
The collaboration also comes with other vanity items related to the fan-favorite heroes being immortalized as Marvel-inspired Heroes. These include, among others, tifos, kits, and balls. Fans can also get their hands on an upcoming online Marvel Heroes comic book alongside Marvel-written bios and limited physical quantities available at a later date.
