The Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy XIV is set to be released this November 23. One thing that players can expect is the introduction of a new playable race. Players, however, won’t be sitting down and waiting for the expansion to drop.
Square Enix revealed in a post the roadmap of different in-game events and content additions available leading to the launch of Endwalker.
July to August
For these months, players can look forward to the "Make it Rain Campaign" from July 19 to August 11. For the duration of the event, players who finish event quests get the new “vexed” emote. They can also earn bonus Manderville Gold Saucer Points from doing Gold Saucer activities.
On July 20, Patch 5.58 arrives in the game which also signals the "Season 20 of The Feast." Of course, there are the usual content adjustments.
Starting August 13, the summer-themed "Moonfire Faire" seasonal event makes a return for a limited period. Finally, on August 27, "The Rising" event starts which marks the eighth anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
September to October
On September 13, the collaboration event with Final Fantasy XV arrives and sees the return of Noctis Lucis Caelum to Hydaelyn. To join the event, players need to be at least level 50 and have finished “The Ultimate Weapon” main scenario quest. Rewards to be earned include Noctis’ hairstyle and outfit as well as the four-person Regalia mount.
The next event comes on October 19 and it’s the "Moogle Treasure Trove." With this, players have another chance to get irregular tombstones and exchange them for different rewards. This is available until November 19.
November Onward
The Endwalker expansion is coming out on November 23, and those who pre-ordered the game can try it with early access on November 19.
In addition to the early access, there are also some post-launch events awaiting players. The "All Saints’ Wake" is happening sometime in late November. By December, players can expect the "Starlight Celebration" and the "Heavensturn" by the new year.
The roadmap was released at the same time with benchmark software details, which you can read more about here.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is going to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
