Breath of the Wild inspired open-world role-playing game Genshin Impact is only a few weeks away. PC fans were wondering what kind of hardware they will need to run the game smoothly, and thankfully, the game doesn’t seem that demanding. Today, developer miHoYo announced the official system requirements of the game. They also revealed the exact time Genshin Impact will be made available.
Genshin Impact will launch on September 28 at 6 a.m. EST. You can play the game on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android. A Nintendo Switch version is confirmed, however, it will launch at a later date. Now, onto the system requirements.
The game will run on age-old hardware. Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 are supported, however, only the 64-bit version is allowed. Intel Core i5 paired with a Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 should be enough to run the game on minimum settings. 8GB of RAM and 30GB of HDD Space is also required.
Recommended requirements are a little high. You will need an Intel Core i7 equivalent CPU paired with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB to run the game smoothly on high settings. RAM requirements also increased to 16GB.
