God of War Ragnarök is one of the most anticipated games of this year. We know that the title will be released this year, except the developer has stayed silent about the actual release date.
A few weeks ago, several leaks and rumors claimed that more information about Ragnarök will be revealed on June 30. Obviously, that didn’t happen. One of the people who made the previous claim has come forward with more info.
Delay of Announcement
Jason Schreier, a prominent game journalist, claimed that the announcement was unfortunately delayed and will happen at a later date. The speculation about the delay is Roe v. Wade.
Two Editions
Tom Henderson, another leaker who has been correct multiple times in the past, claimed that God of War Ragnarök will have two collector’s editions, namely, The Jotnar Edition and Collector’s Edition.
Jotnar Edition will feature the game along with a 1:1 scale replica of Thor’s Mjolnir hammer, whereas, Collector’s Edition includes the game, the hammer, and extra goodies. The said goodies will be a map of the world, some badges, and more.
Keep in mind that these are just leaks, rumors, and speculation. You would be wise to wait for an official announcement. Don’t get too hyped as Kratos once said: “Keep your expectations low and you will never be disappointed.”
About the Game
God of War Ragnarök is expected to launch later this year on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A PC port hasn’t been confirmed, but given Sony’s past decision, we are sure that it will eventually get a PC release as well.
God of War (2018) PC Port
God of War (2018) was made available on PC early this year. As many expected, the game received critical reception from fans, thanks to extra features like DLSS and FSR.
