God of War Ragnarök is one of the most anticipated games of this year. It was officially revealed last year with some gameplay footage, but since then, we heard nothing about the game except delays. While we know that the game is coming out this year, we don't know exactly when, and that may change within a week.
According to a prominent leaker, The Snitch, God of War Ragnarök's release date will be revealed on June 30. Well, they didn’t outright say that, just hinted at it. All of their previous leaks have come true, despite most being cryptic tweets only.
The Tweet
They tweeted a God of War GIF where some numbers were blinking: 1 1 1 1 0. These are binary numbers which mean 30 when converted to decimal. This may suggest something big happening for Ragnarök at the end of this month.
This rumor reinforces the previous leak by Jason Schreier, who claimed that the release date of Ragnarök will be revealed later this month. Schreier also claimed that the game is expected to launch in November.
The Snitch tweeted another GIF displaying “Order,” hinting at possible pre-orders for God of War Ragnarök going live on the same day.
Sony First-Party Games and PC Version
Sony may be going full force in the second half of 2022, with two major AAA first-party game releases on PlayStation. One is God of War Ragnarök, and the other is The Last of Us Part 1. The latter is coming to PS5 on September 2 and later on PC.
Right now, Ragnarök isn’t confirmed on PC. But given that God of War (2018) is now on that platform, and Sony seems adamant about releasing games on PC after a few years, we will eventually see Ragnarök on the master race as well.
Do keep in mind these are just rumors and leaks. There’s a good chance they are accurate, but take them with a grain of salt.
