Granblue Fantasy Versus has released two new character trailers featuring Lancelot and Ferry.
If you haven’t heard yet, Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy is coming to PlayStation 4 as Granblue Fantasy Versus, a 2.5D fighting game. After being a famous role-playing game in Japan, Cygames decided to team up with the developers of the Guilty Gear Series and Blazblue Series, Arc System Works. Applications for the closed beta that will be happening on May 31 are open until May 24, so if you’re interested, you can check out more on it here.
The first character trailer showcased the Draph duelist, Ladiva and now we’re down to the second and third trailers featuring Lancelot and Ferry.
Lancelot is the captain of the Order of White Dragons of Feendrache Kingdom. He is a swordsman who wields two blades. He is willing to risk his life for his beloved kingdom; however, he has issues with keeping his room nice and tidy.
Ferry is an Erune who used to live in the Mist-Shrouded Isle before becoming a spirit when she died. This dark transition happened when she was waiting for her sickly sister to come home. Following Gran and Lyra’s bidding, Ferry goes on a journey to look for her sibling. She uses her whip when fighting, and has the help of her ghost pets, having a stupendous effect on her opponents with fantastic attacks.
If you want to know more about the characters, you can check out Granblue Fantasy Versus’ official website, but here’s a quick recap about them.
Ladiva, who starred in the previous trailer, is a Draph duelist and the star of the Jewel Resort Casino Liner. Gran is the hero who travels the skies with his lizard-like friend, Vym and his savior, Lyria. Katalina is an ex-imperial knight who saved Lyria from cruel experiments. Charlotta, the Harvin knight, is the captain of Lumiel Order of Holy Knights. And last but not the least, Lowain is an easy-going guy who has a knack for daggers.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is set for release sometime this year exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The closed beta test/network stress test will be held from May 31 to June 1.
