GTA Online is adding even more content today with the release of a new game mode, new vehicle and more. The new mode, called Overtime Shootout, is a modified version of Overtime Rumble.
Overtime Shootout takes the hectic multiplayer of Overtime Rumble, and dials it back until it becomes more a challenge of accuracy and finesse. Players take turns driving down a huge ramp, trying to launch into the air and land on different platforms. The smaller the platform, the more points you’ll score for your team. Think of it like Skee-Ball, but for cars.
As for the new vehicle, the HVY Nightshark is now available at Warstock Cache & Carry. Like the name suggests, this heavily armored vehicle comes equipped with two machine guns mounted on the front bumper. The HVY Nightshark will be all you need if you want to roll into a mission with both class and heavy weaponry.
Now for this week’s discounts. From now until Aug. 14, players can purchase a Mobile Operations Center from Warstock Cache & Carry at 25 percent off the normal price. All renovations like the Vehicle Workshop are also 25 percent off as well. Additionally, the weaponized vehicle customizations available in the Vehicle Workshop will be 25 percent off as well.
If you want some added firepower, Mk II ammo types have been marked down by 25 percent until Aug. 14 as well. This includes tracer and incendiary rounds, as well as other ammo types. The Dewbauchee Vagner is also discounted by 25 percent at Legendary Motorsport.
If you want bonus GTA$ or RP, there are new premium races and time trials until Aug. 14. The premium race is Mountain Drop, which is locked to bikes. The time trial is Maze Bank Arena. Both races can be found on the Quick Jobs app on your phone or in Legion Square. Additionally, all bodyguards and associates will get double GTA$ salaries during the week.
