Guilty Gear Strive: Version 1.09 Update Adds Jack O' and Other Improvements

A recent patch for Guilty Gear Strive has added the new playable character, Jack-O’, into the game. Those who’ve purchased the GGST Season Pass 1 can use her after applying the update.

However, PS4 and PS5 users who did not get the season pass will have to wait until August 30 when Jack-O’ will be available as a separate purchase. If you are playing the Steam version, you can now get her if you wish.

The update also reduces input delay on PS4 Pro and PS5. If you are using the standard PS4 console, you will have to wait longer as the developers are still looking to address the issue.

So, what are the other things included in Version 1.09? The devs have fixed the issue where replay data may not be saved properly. This is good news, especially if you have the knack for saving replays of your favorite fights.

Keep in mind that all of your past replays will no longer work correctly after applying the update. But hey, on the positive side, at least you’re not going to have any problems saving your replay data from now on.

While the devs have added some bug fixes, network features might still be inaccessible under certain conditions. They are still looking to fix the issue.
