Attention pilots! The first-ever Gundam Evolution Showdown is taking place this September 24 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. A total of 12 content creators are set to duke it out in the first-ever free-to-play hero shooter of the franchise.
So far, the only participant revealed is Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL” White. Bandai Namco did confirm that they’ll reveal the remaining content creators joining the Showdown over the next several days.

Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter featuring 6v6 PvP combat with playable mobile suits across the Gundam multiverse. The game offers three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. The title presents a unique set of challenges where teams need to craft and execute formidable offensive and defensive strategies to emerge victorious.
Players get access to a roster of 12 units at launch. Additional mobile suits and customizable items are also available but must be unlocked. To unlock them, players can use EVO Coins, available for real-world purchase, and Capital Points (CP), obtained in-game through gameplay.

- Players can pilot units from across the Gundam multiverse.
- Each unit features various attack skills, support functions, and HP levels.
- Thrust System
- Activating the Thruster Gauge kicks the action into overdrive.
- Use Thruster Movement to cover long distances fast and Dash for rapid bursts of acceleration.
- With the Thrust System, pilots can move effectively around the battlefield and use sudden surprise movements to their tactical advantage.
- G-Maneuver
- In addition to their innate abilities, units come equipped with powerful G-Maneuver effects.
- These effects, which can be activated when the G-Maneuver Meter reaches 100%, vary from unit to unit.
Gundam Evolution is launching in the US and Canada on PC through Steam on September 21. Versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S are arriving on November 30.
For Europe, the PC version is coming out September 22, with the ones for consoles releasing on December 1. It's also arriving on PC on September 22 in Asia, with console versions only releasing in Japan on December 1.
