Blizzard has announced how to obtain the newest hero for Hearthstone added in the latest patch. Lady Liadrin is a Paladin skin that can be obtained by reaching level 20 in World of Warcraft . She is a Blood Knight, though unfortunately does not summon Blood Knights instead of Silver Hand Recruits. You will need to level up a new character in WoW : a character leveled before March 11 will not give you the skin.
Hearthstone began as just an advertisement for World of Warcraft , but the card game became incredibly popular, leaving its predecessor in the dusty field of Azeroth. This is Blizzard’s way of giving some love back to the game that created the massive company we have today. Keeping an MMO alive in today’s market isn’t easy; everyone expects to get games for free. Paying $15 a month for just one game is an outdated model created over a decade ago.
I’ll be playing World of Warcraft for the first time to get this skin, and I expect many others to do the same. Lady Liadrin has the ability to throw down some major Hearthstone BM. Her greeting is “Ah, hello Challenger” which I plan to spam when I play Secret Paladin and drop Mysterious Challenger on turn six.
