Hearts of Iron IV: No Step Back expansion is here. It comes in two forms: free and paid. The free version updates existing focus trees, improves the weather system, and adds Allied construction, to name a few.
However, if you buy the expansion, you will be getting more, including the new Tank Designer system, new focus trees for the Soviet Union, Poland, and the Baltic States, and a supply system overhaul.
Weather conditions now affect your units in more ways than one. For instance, snow can positively increase the dig-in speed but it can also negatively affect the speed of attackers.
You can expect improvements in the user interface too. Advisors that are not available will be marked more prominently in the Politics view. The Commander select window will now show which army you’re selecting for.
