Here Are The Free Xbox Games With Gold For April

April’s lineup for Xbox Games With Gold has been finally announced, although this month does not really offer any recent major releases on the platform. If anything, there is no doubt that the throwback games for both the original Xbox and Xbox 360 are the main highlights this time around.

Microsoft just announced the list of new Games With Gold Titles for April 2019. As expected, the month is going to bring two titles for the Xbox One, as well as one for Xbox 360 and one for the original Xbox. Thanks to the backward compatibility feature built into Xbox One consoles, players can enjoy the latter two games on the Xbox One.

So, without further ado, here they are:

• The Technomancer (Xbox One) – Available from April 1^st to April 30^th, 2019
• Outcast – Second Contact (Xbox One) – Available from April 16^th to May 15^th, 2019
• Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Xbox) – Available from April 1^st to April 15^th, 2019
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Xbox 360) – Available from April 16^th to April 30^th, 2019

It cannot be denied that the Xbox Games With Gold lineup for 2019 has been inferior to the ones introduced from previous years. And although the above-mentioned games may not really reach the heights of their predecessors, they can still help push the excitement levels up a little higher.

It is worth noting that players only have six days left (including today) to download the video games from the previous month. For players who have not done so already, it is imperative to download Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance now. These games will be available until March 31 only. As for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, it will remain free in Games With Gold until April 15.

Interestingly, this month marks yet another Star Wars game's inclusion on Games With Gold. It's unknown if this trend will continue next month.
