March is almost over, which means Microsoft is expected to announce the new Games With Gold April 2019 lineup soon. Based on what the tech giant has done so far this year, the announcement should arrive by the end of the week.
As always, new free games will release on April 1. Right now, players can download Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 on Xbox One. Players need to have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to take advantage of these bonuses from Microsoft. The subscription also introduces them to a handful of special deals and discounts on the official Game Store.
This Week’s Deals With Gold offers a bunch of AAA titles and, at the same time, coincides with the launch of a new Publisher Sale. In addition, fans have the opportunity to grab some heavily discounted games, such as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Just Cause 4, and Far Cry New Dawn.
These Deals With Gold discounts are now valid until March 25 and will be replaced by a new selection in the near future. Going back to the current discounts from Xbox Live Gold, players can enjoy half off the price of the aforementioned titles. Interestingly, the discounted price can still go down if players purchase these games via their Gold Subscription.
Moreover, Microsoft is reportedly removing a selection of games currently available on the Game Pass. They are to be replaced with new ones, although no set date has been announced. Some of the titles expected to be removed by the end of March are Portal Knights, Kingdom New Lands, Late Shift, and Sacred Citadel. All four games have been made available on Game Pass since April 2018, with Portal Knights and Late Shift currently on sale. New additions to the Pass are Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and What Remains of Edith Finch.
