In an interview, Spielberg's son, Max Spielberg, revealed the reason why his father will not play Uncharted.

"He loves story games and I'm always trying to get him to play Uncharted because it's Indiana Jones and I'm like, 'Hey, you'd appreciate this,'" said the younger Spielberg. "But he's like, 'I can't do controllers. I can only do keyboard and mouse.'"

So, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Steven Spielberg does not like using controllers.

The younger Spielberg went as far as to note that his dad is a "big PC guy." Max Spielberg also said that it was his father who got him into gaming.

All hope is not lost, however, as IGN has pointed out that the famous director can play Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves on Steam, which means he can enjoy the famous franchise using his favored keyboard and mouse.

The Game That Spielberg Does Enjoy

If Steven Spielberg does not like to play Uncharted, what game does he enjoy playing then? Well, it's none other than Call of Duty.

"It's always a Call of Duty," said Max Spielberg. "He loves Call of Duty."

When it comes to the specific aspect of the Call of Duty games that the director enjoys most, his son said that he loves playing the story modes of the games.
