IO Interactive announced that it’s going to release physical copies of Hitman 3. That’s not, all as there’s going to be two different editions that will be offered. There’s also going to be a pre-order bonus and even next-gen upgrades.
The Hitman 3 physical version is going to be offered in both Standard and Deluxe editions. The Deluxe Edition is going to add these goodies:
- Deluxe Escalation Contracts
- Deluxe Suits and Items
- Digital Soundtrack
- Digital “World of Hitman” Book
- Director Commentary (Mission Introduction)
Get the Trinity Pack
Hitman 3 is set to be released on January 20, 2021. Pre-orders are already being accepted and the good news is that there’s a pre-order bonus. The Trinity Pack pre-order bonus is going to be available for all editions of Hitman 3 and for all platforms. No exclusivity here.
The Trinity Pack gives players access to nine in-game items, divided into three unique sets which contain a suit, briefcase, and weapon. The pack is going to represent a different game from the trilogy with White for Hitman, Red (Hot Magenta) for Hitman 2, and Black for Hitman 3. Each of the items are also going to have the classic Hitman insignia etched in gold to give it that elegant flourish.
Free Next-Gen Upgrades
IO also announced that the physical editions of Hitman 3 are going to be fully supported by the free next-gen upgrade program, much like the digital versions. That means console players who pre-order, or buy, a physical copy of Hitman 3 on either the PS4 or Xbox One will receive an upgrade to the next-gen version on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S for free.
Arriving for the Switch
It’s not just PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, as Hitman 3 – Cloud Version is also arriving for the Nintendo Switch. The game is going to be playable through cloud streaming technology. What this means is that there’s a new set of players that can experience Agent 47's antics.
Hitman 3 is the final chapter of the World of Assassination trilogy. However, it is the eighth installment in the Hitman franchise. This latest version is set to introduce six new locations that include Dartmoor, England, and Dubai. Hitman 3 is also going to allow players who own Hitman and Hitman 2 to import maps, levels, and even progress into the new game.
