Hitman 3 announced that pre-orders are now being accepted. The game itself is going to be released on January 20, 2021. Hitman 3 is going to be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The game is also going to be released for the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
For Hitman 3's release, there are going to be two versions. The first is the Standard Edition, which offers the base game. The Deluxe Edition also has the base game along with the Deluxe Pack. This Deluxe Pack offers in-game items, Deluxe Escalations, suits, and even a digital soundtrack. It also has the Director Commentary Mission Introduction and The World of Hitman Digital Book.
Those who pre-order Hitman 3 are also going to get the Trinity Pack. This is offered on all platforms. The Pack comes with a total of nine items, with three unique sets that represent a different game in the rebooted Hitman trilogy. Each set is going to have a weapon, briefcase, and suit. Players can include all nine items in their inventory to mix and match as they please. The classic Hitman insignia has also been etched on the items in gold.
As we mentioned earlier, Hitman 3 will be available for next-gen consoles. However, you don’t have to wait until the actual consoles are released. Console players can buy, or even pre-order, a digital edition of Hitman 3 for the current generation. Once the next-gen consoles are released, players can get upgrade to the next-gen version of Hitman 3 for free.
Here’s how it’s actually going to work. For the PlayStation, players can buy a digital version of the game for the PS4 from the PlayStation Store. Once the PS5 is released, these players can download the version for the console for free. For the Xbox, the game makes use of Smart Delivery by giving players access to the Xbox One title and the Xbox Series X title once it is available.
