HTC’s next smartphone will be announced April 12, according to press invites the manufacturer sent Tuesday. HTC will host its second streamed launch event from HTC.com on this date at 8 a.m.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to be called the HTC 10. Several details have already leaked for the HTC 10. Rumors suggest the smartphone may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, a 5.15-inch display, 4GB RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 3,000mah battery and USB Type C. HTC has recently teased that the HTC 10 camera will be “world class,” but has not explained what that means.
Several renders suggest the HTC 10 will have a design that mixes the traditional HTC design and the new design introduced on the HTC One A9.
On April 12, HTC is expected to confirm features for the device as well as announce its release date and pricing.
