From the makers of Job Simulator comes the all-new Vacation Simulator! Whether you’re working in real-life or in Owlchemy Labs’ Job Simulator, it is important to take a break every now and then to go on a vacation. Thankfully, with Vacation Simulator you don’t have to go through all the trouble of booking flights and hotel rooms. Instead, just boot up the game and choose where you want to go.
Kidding aside, Vacation Simulator looks like it could be a decently-sized barrel of fun. We had a real blast with Owlchemy Labs’ first VR game, Job Simulator, which was released back in 2016. We’re thinking if a game about work, overtime and being under-appreciated like all employees are could be so much fun, then a game about relaxing and going on vacation should have us reach unheard levels of virtual-reality enjoyment. Well, maybe not unheard of levels, but we’re excited nonetheless.
Vacation Simulator gives potential vacationers a choice on where they want to travel. Right now, the available destinations are Vacation Beach, Vacation Forest, and Vacation Mountain.
Vacation Beach looks like your typical sunny paradise. Frolic along the shore, play some beach sports, or build sandcastles in this always-sunny island destination. There’s even an underwater ocean park that lets you see the rich bio-diverse marine life for all your selfie-taking pleasure.
For a true nature trip, Vacation Simulator offers up Vacation Forest. There, players are able to experience all sorts of simulated wildlife and wilderness activities. These include fishing, gathering berries, and just hiking up a mountain trail full of nature’s simulated beauty.
Luxurious and leisurely, folks also have the choice to go to Vacation Mountain. Here, they can cool off and enjoy the mountain feel, complete with a winter landscape and steaming hot beverages.
Maybe I ought to grab this game for the hardworking folks here at Player.One. What about you? Which virtual-reality vacation setting do you picture yourself being in? Is it the beach? The lush forest? The cool, cozy mountain cabin? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
Vacation Simulator is available on Steam VR, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR.
