A new DLC for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is now available and introduces the latest fighter of the roster. This newest content adds Keicho Nijimura as a playable character, the third of four new characters planned for release as DLC.
Keicho Nijimura was featured in Part 4 of the anime series and the major antagonist who wanted to kill his father using a powerful item which can create new Stand users. His Stand is known as "Worse Company" which allows him to mobilize a battalion of miniaturized troops, tanks, and helicopters. Meanwhile, his moveset lets him blow opponents away through a combination of short and long-range attacks.
Patch v1.6
Aside from new playable characters, players can also continue to enjoy the balancing adjustments through Patch v1.6 released last week. One of these is for Backstepping with the hurtbox area around the feet being standardized. The goal is to remove any imbalances present in how characters could escape deployed projectiles while they're getting up from being downed.
Other general changes include:
- Adjusted the force that sends opponents flying to the direction the initiating character is facing.
- Under certain situations, when performing a successful counter, the target would go flying in the opposite direction from that suggested by the attack animation.
- Added damage reduction to combos that start out of guardbreak.
- Reduces the reward for performing a guardbreak while maintaining the ability to pursue that guardbreak.

- Dash Forward
- Increased dash speed.
- "Sendo Overdrive" skill
- Decreased projectile speed.
- Shortened recovery period.
- Extended pushback on hit.
- "Overdrive Barrage" skill
- Increased forward motion.
- Shortened recovery period.
- Improves usability in neutral and in combos.
- Dio Brando
- Dash Forward
- Increased dash speed.
- Crouching strong normal attack
- Increased forward motion.
- "Useless, useless, useless, useless!" skill
- Reduced the number of button presses required to receive the damage increase.
- "I'll suck you dry!" skill
- Reduced the number of button presses required to receive the damage increase.
- Reduces difficulty of control.
- "That must be five or six ribs broken!" skill
- Shortened recovery period.
- Increased launch power when hitting an airborne opponent.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
