LawBreakers, the upcoming arena shooter from Gears of War’s CliffyB, is entering into a closed beta soon, and the time is now to sign up for a chance to participate. The LawBreakers beta will be running from March 16 to March 19.
To sign up for the beta, go to the official LawBreakers website right here. Because it is a closed beta, not everyone who signs up will get in.
The beta will include the debut of several new roles for players to take on, new maps, improved game balance and much more. The new roles haven’t been announced yet, but are promised to offer a greater variety play-styles for people to try out.
For those attending PAX East this weekend, there will be plenty of LawBreakers action to check out. Developer Boss Key Productions will be attending at Booth #13055, offering attendees the opportunity to play for themselves. All those who do play will receive an exclusive Pinny Arcade pin with an unannounced character on it, as well as one of three PAX-exclusive t-shirts. Cliff Bleszinski and the team will also be giving a talk about the development of LawBreakers at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 10 in the Bumblebee Theater.
No release date for LawBreakers has been announced yet, but one is likely to come after the end of the beta testing period.
So what do you think? Are you excited to try out LawBreakers when the closed beta starts? Will you try to attend the Boss Key presentation at PAX East? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
