‘The League’ season 6 premiere is tonight and all you fantasy football nerds need to be watching the first episode of the promised epic sixth season of FXX’s comedy. So hopefully you aren’t worn down by ‘The Simpsons’ 12-day marathon on the same channel, because there is plenty of comedy gold to be had in the sixth season of ‘The League.’
‘Sitting Shiva’ is the title to ‘The League’ season 6 premiere episode and it deals with Kevin having to deal with being married to the Shiva champ while the league attends a funeral. Yes, a funeral. Check out the official synopsis below:
“The guys attend a funeral in the Season 6 premiere. Meanwhile, Andre displays newfound confidence.”
Who is the funeral for? That question will be answered during the season 6 premiere but will they be holding their fantasy football draft during the funeral? It’s very likely considering the league held a previous draft in the hospital delivery room while Jenny was giving birth to Chalupa Batman MacArthur.
Steve Rannazzisi, who plays Kevin, told Mike and Mike on Sept. 3 that this year’s draft will have a setting as ridiculous as the delivery room scene. That pretty much confirms where this season’s draft will take place, but if you want to be sure, catch ‘The League’ season 6 premiere livestream using the following means:
