The latest update to "LEGO Fortnite Odyssey," Storm Chasers, added a brand new feature in the form of Storm Caves that will lead to players facing off against the Storm King.
The chance to battle against a new powerful foe is an attractive proposition to many players who are eager to acquire whatever rewards they can get from the enemy. In order to do this, you need to understand exactly what Storm Caves are and what you need to do.
This guide offers some tips and tricks that give players an insight into what to expect from Storm Caves and how to find them. Keep these things in mind when you are out and about looking for these arenas.
How To Find Storm Caves
The first thing you need to know is how to actually find these new Storm Caves in "LEGO Fortnite Odyssey." This is actually simple as they are a new and unique point of interest that is only found in the Storm biome, according to Game Rant.
Players can find Storm biomes from a distance due to the large purple storm that circles the harsh region.
If you want to make sure you find a Storm biome, you should upgrade your Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 6, which will give you an upgraded compass to show their locations.
When you enter a Storm biome, you need to travel to the mountain located in the center of the area to find a Rift. This is the entrance of the Storm Cave in this particular region that you can enter at your own peril.
What's Inside Storm Caves?
When you enter the Storm Cave Rift, you will encounter a variety of hostile enemies, and you will have to destroy three storm crystals before you can progress to the next level.
It is highly recommended to come with good equipment before jumping into Storm Caves, Sportskeeda said.
The three crystals are spread across the cave and will reward players with a chest of loot and the rift portal to the next level after all have been destroyed. Jumping into the next level will have you face off against a wave of storm spawners.
You should focus your attention on the spawners before cleaning out the rest of the mobs in the vicinity. Finishing this section will reward you with another loot chest as well as the portal to the next level.
One thing to note is that if you leave a Storm Cave, you will maintain your progress and will not have to restart from the earliest level. Continuously completing these levels will later give you a chance to face off against the Storm King himself.
The boss has two primary attacks, melee and an electric ball ranged attack that will follow you infinitely until it hits you or you dissipate it using a ranged weapon. Be cautious, as the Storm King can also teleport around the arena to catch you off guard.
After defeating the Storm King, you will get another loot chest and a very high chance of dropping the Amber Sword and several Storm Rune Tomes, according to The Gamer.
