While the Logan post-credits scene is a well-kept secret thus far, Collider confirms you should stay in the theaters after the movie ends. The Logan after credits scene wasn’t shown at early press screenings, and Steve Weintraub can’t tell us at what point in the credits it will appear, but he reports he can “100% tell you something will be there.”
“Forget about the rumors…I can confirm it’s true,” Weintraub writes.
Early reviews are giving Logan high acclaim. ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis even goes so far to say it may be the best comic book movie to date. This only adds to the speculation there has to be a post-credits scene, whether it’s the final Hugh Jackman send-off, a Deadpool 2 skit with Ryan Reynolds, a hint at what to expect in the next big X-Men franchise movie or how X-23’s role will fit in the universe. Personally, I’m hoping to see a teaser for Professor X’s role in New Mutants. James McAvoy has all but confirmed his role.
A new mutant hasn’t been born in 25 years when Logan takes place. Charles Xavier and Wolverine must protect a young but powerful mutant with who was created with Logan’s DNA: X-23.
Logan arrives in theaters March 3.
