Magic: Legends dropped a new trailer, which is all about the new Planeswalker class Dimir Assassin. The video tells a bit of what the class can offer to the fight, particularly his attacks and spells.

The Dimir Assassin is a class that makes use of not only blue mana but also black mana. If you’re one of those who played the original collectible card game, then you should know what it means. In essence, it’s a combination that makes use of control spells when it comes to attacking. Its ability to control allows this class to exploit a weakness to its ultimate effect.
There’s no question that the Dimir Assassin is the best example when it comes to the House Dimir of Ravnica. The primary attack of this class is called Shadowblade Throw where mid-range daggers are thrown to enemies, and each blade returning to the user will give an extra slice to all opponents hit. When it’s upgraded at class level four, the fourth consecutive attack releases Vorpal Saw. This is a swirling energy blade that remains in place on the battlefield for a short time, and enemies in contact will receive continuous damage.
In addition to the unique skills and abilities, the Dimir Assassin comes with these unlocks:
- Dimir Assassin Costume
- Unlocked account-wide and equippable at any Tailor in-game.
- Disinformation
- Trait - Unlocked at class Level 30
- Whenever you draw a spell, creatures you control gain Lesser Resistance for 5 seconds.
- Whenever you discard a spell, enemies within 15 feet gain Greater Vulnerability for 5 seconds.
- Nightveil Stalker
- Spell - Unlocked immediately
- The Nightveil Stalker is a Mythic Rare spirit Assassin Creature spell with Hexproof.
- Upon entering the battlefield, it deals damage to a foe and stuns them.
- As its special ability, for every third spell you draw, it teleports to an enemy and does damage to them, but loses its hexproof ability for a short time.
Players can unlock this new class at Level 50 for both free and premium tiers of the Battle Pass. It’s also available as the Grand Tier Prize of the Dimir Assassin Booster Pack.
