The end of the Marvel vs Capcom trailer reveals the release date to download Black Panther, Sigma and Monster Hunter will be Oct. 17.
Black Panther’s gameplay is eerily similar to how Wolverine and X-23 moved in Ultimate MvC 3 with the way the King of Wakanda moves through the air and bounces off walls. His ultimate attacks also consist of slash combos and attacks that allow him to move across the level in the air and perform a rising uppercut.
Sigma’s sword is a huge part of his gameplay, as his slashes also throw an energy wave to deal more damage or hurt opponents who avoided the initial slash. The Mega Man X villain also comes equipped with his own Mega Buster attacks.
With these three characters, players will also get each of their premium costumes. Everyone who obtained the 2017 Character Pass will automatically get Black Panther, Sigma, Monster Hunter, Winter Soldier, Black Widow and Venom when they become available.
Capcom announced the other batch of DLC characters right before the release of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and teased in an official statement that all of them will be made available by the end of 2017.
"We know there has been much speculation on who the remaining four DLC characters will be, and we are happy to announce that Monster Hunter, Winter Soldier, Black Widow and the shape-shifting Venom will all be battling their way into Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite later this year. We are hard at work on these characters and can't wait to show them to you when they are ready!"
