Winter Soldier, Venom and Black Widow all share the spotlight in the latest Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite trailer, which shows off some combos, infinity stone play and all three characters’ hyper combos. The trailer also reveals the release date to download the upcoming DLC . Check out the brand new Marvel vs Capcom trailer below.
The first character in the new Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite trailer is Bucky Barnes, AKA the Winter Soldier. From the trailer, it seems he is a mix of Chris Redfield, using an array of weapons. He also packs some close combat skill, like Spencer. What makes Winter Soldier stand out is the way he can walk through an enemy’s projectile attack without being stunned, even if it’s a hyper combo, similar to how Monster Hunter can shake off a move and continue swinging her massive sword.
Black Widow’s play style is reminiscent of Jill Valentine from Marvel vs Capcom 3, as she can use a variety of kicks and flips in battle. Black Widow also brings an array of weapons to help her fight, including a gummy bomb that will detonate a short time after attaching itself to an enemy. She also has her signature stun guns mounted on her wrist that will daze her opponent for a few seconds and a weapon that can bring her enemy close to complete a combo.
Venom’s addition to Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite brings pretty much all of the brute’s movesets from his earlier MvC days. His symbiote attack from the ground remains intact, and he still has his charging bite attack that is great for chaining combos. The villain’s hyper combos also make a grand return, with his aerial web attack and Death Bite attack, a souped-up version of his symbiote ground attack.
Venom, Winter Soldier and Black Widow will be downloadable for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite beginning Dec. 5.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
