The new free-to-play game MMA Manager 2: Ultimate Fight is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This is a sequel to the fighter management sim MMA Manager.
The game builds on the gameplay of the previous title where players are MMA managers growing the skill and prestige of their fighters. As managers, players can:
- Hire trainers
- Buy gyms and fill them with state-of-the-art equipment
- Plan out their fights
- Pick up coaches that know their way around a ring
- Recruit their own champions in the making, including fighters who are tanky heavyweights and agile lightweights.
MMA Manager 2: Ultimate Fight comes with new single-player campaigns designed to test the strength and tactical ability in the ring. There’s also Fight Club where players can test whether their teams can take down opponents.
Strategy and planning are key, and players must create a specific plan for each new fight so they won’t be caught off guard. Remember that fighters learn and improve with each new opponent. Fighters can also learn new skills and master new and improved tactics through gyms.
In a statement, FunRock and Prey Studios Co-founder and CEO Magdy Shehata revealed that with the success of the first game, it was obvious that they had to release a sequel that would offer more features and excitement. He added that the number of downloads and reviews from players showed the game’s success. He went on to say that in the next edition, they’ll be bringing to life the features that many players have long wanted.
