This week's Modern Warfare playlist update is now live, and as expected it made some heavy playlist changes in order to keep the player base entertained. Several changes have been made in both Warzone and Modern Warfare multiplier. Here are the big highlights.
The May 5 update has added Blood Money Trios, but Plunder Trios has been removed. Flying over the map quickly is going to become very difficult as Helicopters have been completely removed from Battle Royale. Shoot the Ship 24/7 was replaced by Shipment 24/7 and Gun Game is replaced by Gun Game Reloaded. Some modes like GW Reinfected, Ground War, and Cranked 343 Gunfight are removed. However, Demolition and Boots on the Ground War have taken their place.

Modern Warfare's developers have also doubled XP for a few days. From right now until May 8 you will get double XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X Tiers. This came as an apology for the bugs that have been annoying fans for a while now. The developers also assured fans that they are working on the update that will solve these bugs, which should be deployed in a couple of days.
In other news, Warzone doesn’t seem to be slowing down. It recently grew to an over 60 million player base. Warzone was able to achieve this number in only two months. That’s a pretty good record. The only other free Battle Royale game that was this successful was Apex Legends. Speaking of Apex, Respawn's Battle Royale game is also going strong and is about to begin its Season 5, which will release on May 12.
