When the first gameplay breakdown of Triborg was shown by the NetherRealm Studios team, they teased the existence of a fourth variation for the new fighter. Cyber Sub-Zero is this fourth variation for Triborg, but besides a small snippet of what he can do nothing else was said about it.
Now that Mortal Kombat XL has released, and the Kombat Pack 2 fighters are available, some players have figured out how to unlock the Cyber Sub-Zero variation.
It’s actually really simple, all you need to do is input Up, Up, TRIANGLE for the PS4 or Up, Up, Y for Xbox One on the variant selection screen for Triborg.

Cyber Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat X is a lot like Sub-Zero but with his own style. He launches ice attacks through his chest and can drop ice bombs on the ground. He has a variation of Sub-Zero’s slide and can even perform some of Sub-Zero’s brutalities.
He can even join in on the other Triborgs Friendship Brutality. Instead of holding Back for Cyrax, Forward for Sektor and Down for Smoke, Cyber Sub-Zero will appear by holding Up.
